INNOVATION AWARD

Recognises educators shaping the future of STEM and business education through video. Blended learning, which combines classroom teaching with digital resources, is transforming how students learn, making education more flexible, active, and accessible. If you have mastered Blended Learning to advance education, this is your chance to shine. 

Tell us how you are using JoVE to:

  • Maximise classroom interaction and lab time
  • Accommodate learners’ individual paces and styles
  • Make complex concepts visual and clear
  • Connect theory to real-world practice
RESEARCHER INNOVATION AWARD

Celebrates researchers whose JoVE publications have increased visibility, adoption, and scientific impact. Publishing methods in video helps others see, understand, and reproduce complex techniques more effectively.

Your submission must address:

  • What article you published in JoVE and why it matters in your field
  • How video publishing increased visibility, adoption, or citations
  • How JoVE supported collaboration, training, or international reach
LIBRARIAN
INNOVATION AWARD

Honours librarians guiding their communities toward stronger research skills, clearer career pathways, and digital fluency with JoVE. Examples may include (and are not limited to): virtual workshops, reproducibility training modules, online learning guides, or campus-wide digital initiatives.

Tell us how you are using JoVE to:

  • Create orientation modules or career resources
  • Highlight teaching roles, cross-disciplinary careers, or research methods
  • Strengthen students’, researchers’, or faculty members’ career direction and academic confidence
AMBASSADOR 
AWARD

Recognises leaders (from any category) who drove large-scale adoption of JoVE through strategic rollout and change management.

Tell us how you:

  • Launched and expanded JoVE adoption in your institution or network
  • Used change management strategies or collaborations to scale impact
  • Measured success through engagement, outcomes, or institutional alignment

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

ELIGIBILITY
Applicants must be currently employed at an academic institution or a corporate, government, or hospital entity.
Submissions may be published on our website and/or incorporated in the development of content materials for dissemination to a wide audience.
Applications must be received by November 21, 2025, and winners will be announced in January 2026.
Awardees must be willing to participate in JoVE coverage of contest results including a blog post, quoted testimonial, and webinar.
HOW TO APPLY
Submit a short narrative (up to 1,000 words) addressing your category prompts, including:
  • the practice(s) established
  • the steps taken to establish these practices and make them successful
  • evidence pointing to positive results
Add supporting materials (e.g., modules, playlists, guides, training resources, metrics)
(Optional) Include a 1-minute video testimonial or classroom/lab walkthrough
Provide a short bio of each participant
