## Research Article

### Aimed at communicating *novel research.* Centered on a narrative about interesting new results. Methods are described in detail to explain how the results were obtained and enable accurate replication. Novel results required.

## Method Article

### Centered around *how* something is done - an experimental approach, computational workflow, clinical procedure, etc. Methods are described in a high level of procedural detail, and representative results are included to demonstrate the effectiveness of the methodology. Novel results are allowed but not required.

## Case Report

### Aimed at reporting the condition and course of treatment for a single patient. Only relevant in clinical settings. Documents rare or instructive patient histories, and/or reports new and cutting-edge treatment modalities.
