Phyllis is a Managed Knowledge Services staff member for Copyright Clearance Center. She has been in her current role as the Library Portfolio Support Manager at Janssen R&D for three and a half years and is responsible for the day-to-day administration of Library Services including digital resource collection management, end-user support and training, and maintaining the JRD eLibrary portal. She supports the information needs of Janssen Research & Development, LLC (JRD) staff as the subject matter expert on Janssen Library Services tools including the CCC RightFind content management system.

Previously, Phyllis was Associate Director of Scientific Information Resources for Bristol-Myers Squibb where she was responsible for satellite library operations in their New Brunswick, Syracuse, Buffalo, and Hopewell locations. While taking time away from her pharma career to raise her children, her skills were put to work as a librarian in a K-8 setting where she developed an information literacy and technology curriculum and taught for 14 years. Just prior to joining CCC, Phyllis coordinated the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) Drug Free Communities Support Program as well as the Opiate Overdose Prevention Program for Prevention is Key in northern NJ. Always a special librarian at heart, though, Phyllis is thrilled to be back to her roots in the pharmaceutical industry.

Phyllis has a BS in Biology from the Rochester Institute of Technology and an MLS from Rutgers University. She resides in rural Hunterdon County, NJ where she enjoys gardening, fine cooking, and raising koi.
